Dreaming about off-road adventures and veering off onto unknown scenic backroads? The 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sport and Wrangler Sport S are ready to take you there, in style. They’re trail rated® and ready to grab hold of whatever terrain you’re playing on. Offered in a two-door or more spacious four-door model, the Wrangler comes equipped with a now-standard 2.0L turbo engine that produces 270 HP and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. The previously standard 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine is now optional and delivers 285 HP and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. Hybrid options for both engines are also available as is a new 3.0L EcoDiesel turbo engine.
The Sport trim is the base-level model that’s packed with all sorts of capability, while the Sport S includes Sport trim features plus a few more standard items and upgrades. Among the features you’ll find on the Wrangler Sport are cloth seats, 17-in. Black Steel-styled wheels, front fog lights, hill start assist, and a ParkView® rear backup camera. The Sport S trim includes most Sport features but upgrades to 17-in. Tech Silver aluminum wheels and features a 60/40 folding rear seat, power front windows with one-touch down, and an available Alpine® premium sound system.
If you’re looking for next-level off-road capability, the 2020 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is your ideal ride. This Wrangler comes ready to play right from the factory. Find a four-wheel drive Rock-Trac system, 33-in. all-terrain tires, heavy-duty tow hooks, heavy-duty front and rear axles, Tru-Lok® electronic locking differentials, and an electronic front sway bar disconnect. Axle ratio on the Rubicon is 4.01 versus the Sahara’s 3.2l, which means the Rubicon offers more towing capacity while the Sahara provides better fuel economy.
The 2020 Wrangler Sahara offers less off-roading equipment, but you could enhance your Sahara with off-road accessories down the road. The Sahara features a four-wheel drive Command-Trac system for adventurous or challenging roads, but you’ll also experience a bit more comfort out of your daily drive, too.
